3. Where do we meet before our surfing lessons?

We meet all of our customers in the carpark by our surf van to issue the surfing equipment for your surf lessons and to make sure consent forms have been filled in before leaving for the beach.

The surfing lessons will either take place at Hillend Campsite, Llangennith or Caswell Beach.

The beaches that we use depend on the weather and surf conditions and we will make the decision so you get the best waves on the day of your lessons to ensure you are safe when you learn to surf.

We ask customers to phone 1 day prior to your surf lessons commencing to confirm the location of your surfing lessons. Contact details can be found here >

1. When are the surfing lessons?

We operate surfing lessons 7 days a week throughout the year at our 2 favourite beaches Caswell Beach and Llangennith.

The surf lessons usually start at 10am or 1:30pm but if you are bringing a group down to learn to surf with you we can be flexible with these times.

5. How Long Are The Surf Lessons?

A standard surfing lesson will last approx' 2 hours and during this time we will show you how to carry the boards, how to catch waves, how to stand up and most importantly we will demonstrate how you can stay safe in the surf.

A full-day surfing lesson is comprised of 2 x 2hour surfing lessons with a break at lunch for customers to have a light bit to eat before doning their wetsuit and plunging back into the waves.

We also cater for educational after schools lessons. These are slightly shorter in duration (approx 1.5 hours) but this is reflected in the price. Please contact us for more info.

7. Are There Any Restrictions On People Who Can Surf?

The majority of people are able to learn to surf and there are very few reasons why you cannot learn to surf with us. However, for health and safety reasons you can't surf if:

1. You cannot swim 50m unaided

2. You are pregnant

3. You are less than 8 years of age (although strong swimmers may be allowed younger)

4. You have a pre-existing problem and your GP has advised you not to surf!

8. How Do We Get To The Beach?

The best way to travel to the beach is by car because you are able to take in the beautiful scenery whilst travelling to the beach.

Public transport can be slow and irregular but we can advise on the best transport methods when you call us.

There is plenty of parking spaces at both of the beaches we use but in the height of summer we advise you get there early because the carparks can become crowded, especially when it is sunny!

We have provided 2 maps to help you to find us easily!!!
